So it would appear that I inherited a genetic condition I can’t pronounce. I have a couple spots that they have to burn. A scaring area that will could later cause electrical issues. And there’s no way to know if that’s the type I have so at the time of the branding they will put in a “safety net “ internal pace maker and defibrillator. My understanding is the pace maker is to break the electrical problem if it should occur and the defibrillator comes in if the pace maker doesn’t stop the problem…..should that problem ever arise.
The myopathy will slightly improve after the problem is corrected but considering this problem has existed an estimated 5-10 years already and I just didn’t know it…..they think I’ll return to running 6-8 weeks after the procedure and likely get back to my old form.
Scheduled for September 30th….they don’t seem to be in a hurry. I’m told that we’ve caught this thing early, to which I said 5-10 years…..and they said due to my health and conditioning that it’s preventing the process of the disease so it’s like catching it first year.
In other news I went to the alumni hall in Murfreesboro.
Today’s swag.
