East vs West Army game

That's it. Don't spit in my face to tell me my shoe is untied and expect me to say, "Thank you.".

Police brutality is real. I don't know anyone that supports it.

Don't throw Veterans under the bus because ignorant people become cops and abuse their power.

Don't make a cop chase you down and think you don't deserve some brutality. There is a fine line between force and excessive force. Even football has unnecessary roughness and it's a 20 car pile up every play.

Stop with the strawman, this debate is about you thinking something is disrespectful and trying to keep free citizens from doing it, that is the antithesis of freedom, and is more insulting to vets sacrifices than them using the right to peaceful protest.

Also a peaceful protest is a constitutionally protected act, spitting in someone's face is assault. To equivocate the two is absurd, one is punishable by law the other is protected by law.

And no your feelings being hurt does not constitute harm.

Hold up a sign saying "Stop Police Brutality.", then maybe we would be discussing that rather than how offensive but protected kneeling for our National Anthem.

A bunch of talentless, bitter, jealous idiots mad at kids that have more going on in their lives than the complainers. That is all this is.

Why is it always jealousy with you? I wouldn't trade my life with a single one of those kids. Why do you assume that all our posters are talentless?

The guy acted like a self absorbed prima donna. He's in HS for goodness sake. Stop acting like he is a brain surgeon.

But the value part of freedom is that citizens get to choose what they do. Forcing people to stand is the exact opposite of what freedom is and what that flag and anthem are supposed to mean. Also, no one was protesting the same players using that platform for charities, or relief efforts. Everyone applauds their efforts when it doesnt conflict with their emotions, they protested to bring awareness to issues that they hold dear and felt that it wasnt getting enough attention. Also the fact still remains that many of the players protesting have themselves donated to the causes that they are trying to bring awareness to, none of their actions should even be considered selfish, given those facts.

The reality is that they are bringing to light some very uncomfotrable conversations that we as a society need to have, ill admit that it isnt the easiest sell during an entertainment event. But again we dont get to decide on what they support in a free society.

So you are against private employers establishing rules for their employees, especially in situations where public perception is all important?

They brought light to nothing, in fact most of not all of the "protesters" didn't have a clear idea of what they were protesting.

Real organized bunch:

Actually, depending on who you are predicates whether or not you will be prosecuted and hurt feelings constitute a large part of punitive damages that are awarded. I wish your post was the letter of the law, but it isn't.
