was located 7 miles west of Maynardville, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

A solid line of storms has now formed east of west Knoxville. It turned from yellow to red on the radar.
 
This is the worst I’ve seen in a year. It looks like an apocalypse in Knoxville
 
I'm in west Knoxville off Pellissippi and am totally losing the scattered shower lottery over here. It rains north, south, east, and west of here but nothing in the middle. If we do get some it's for 5 minutes and it's drops.
 
Be careful on the roads today and tonight. Flash Flood Watch is in effect until tomorrow at 8:00 AM. 2-3 inches of additional rainfall is likely, with locally higher amounts also possible.
