We ended up close to 2 inches and I’m not far from you in HV. It’s still snowing fairly hard but the flakes with this system have been so tiny that it takes a long time to accumulate.

Just got back from running a couple of errands and doing donuts. Dunkin and Starbucks are closed. It actually just started snowing fairly steadily in Farragut again.

One of my friends had a bday celebration in a cabin in Gatlinburg. I paid my cut for the cabin but warned them about the snow coming and suggested they get a refund. I cut my losses and stayed home in Chatt and they are now stuck in the cabin with 12” of snow. Pretty sure they will be staying a day or two extra…..

You should’ve gone. It’s such a rare occurrence to see that much that it’s worth a couple extra days, assuming you’re prepared.
