Last week, the storm track basically made it to where it went from snow to ice storm. This time, it's definitely going to be all snow. Temps aren't going to be hovering in the lower 30s. It's going to drop into the teens Friday night into Saturday when most of the snow will hit.I’ll believe it when I see it after last weeks debacle.
Yeah, I saw that. The forecast for my area briefly changed to 5-8 inches late last night, and they are backing off of that this morning now 2-4. I think there will be locally less or more. Think of it like a tropical system when you see the reds and the yellow and the greens on the radar - red for heavier, yellow = moderate, green is light. That's like this storm. There are going to be pockets of heavier precip and pockets of lighter precip. Where those go is anyone's guess.I dunno man. NWS updated totals this AM to 4 inches for Knoxville. They are talking about how this system may overproduce if anything.
If it is 4” for Knoxville then the Maryville area where am at will get 5+”. Still expecting 2-3”, but more will be nice to see for the kiddos. I’ll be outside smoking some butts this weekend like a smart guy.I dunno man. NWS updated totals this AM to 4 inches for Knoxville. They are talking about how this system may overproduce if anything.
