East Tennessee Weather II

Boy, the roads in Morristown are not good this evening. Side roads are slick. WVLT said at 12:00 Morristown wouldn’t see anything…

I am so tired of this weather. Supposed to hop over the mountain to catch a flight down to Miami tomorrow afternoon. Getting nervous about being able to get over there

This is WWA level. Not impressed with how MRX has handled this.

It's a difficult situation, but in hindsight, probably deserved an advisory just for the impacts. Roads are terrible with the light accumulation because of the days of sub-freezing temperatures.

Looks like most of the area performed about as expected with a band near the Knoxville area over-performing. We're talking about the difference between a few hundredths of an inch of liquid equivalent precipitation across the area with the heaviest falling right around the most populated locations in East Tennessee.

Not much snow in the forecast for Tennessee for January. Possibly strong storms moving thru Knoxville Thursday afternoon (4:00 mark in video) and some snow on Friday the 13th (8:45 mark in the video). Above average temps for rest of January (7:15 mark in video).

Boy, this will suck. When was the last time East TN had really no snow whatsoever during January?
