Earl Weaver and Stan Musial have passed away today

A very sad day in baseball.

Especially Musial, who also is a war hero.

Earl Weaver was one of the best arguers of all time. And you can't go wrong with a philosophy of pitching, defense and 3 run homers.

My grandfather maintains that the two best baseball players of all time are in order Ted Williams and Stan the Man.

I don't know if any of y'all ever had the honor of meeting Stan at fan events. But he was truly one of the nicest and most gracious men I've ever met.
I'm not a big memorabilia guy. But I have a pic of me with my Grandpa and Stan the man when I was about 10. Now both men are gone.
