I think they will have to step up next week. I feel decent about D Line and Linebackers but I think the secondary will have to play huge for us to have a chance.

Yes. A lot of running plays are going to end up in our secondary.

Everyone will have to play well to have a chance. Heck even the fans will have to get more involved. But, they can do it. They will just have to play with focus and intensity.

That's because you haven't seen our DTs go up against an SEC line for 4 quarters yet.

We're not playing the Saints. Don't give oregon too much credit for putting 70 pts on UNM, alot of teams are capable of doing that. There's alot of talent on this Tennessee team, and oregon is not the number one team in the nation, heck they barely cracked the top ten.

Is oregon going to average 70 pts a game this year? That could be a record.

Week 1 means everything, didn't you know that?

No kidding. A team scores 70 pts on one of the worst teams in college football and that makes them invincible and the greatest team to play the game.

I remember some Fulmer teams that could easily put up 60-70 pts a game, but still lose to Florida, Alabama and a bowl game.

If we're depending on our secondary to stop their RBs then I imagine it's going to be a long night anyways.

I remember fulmer teams that COULD do it but never did. We'll just have to wait & see.

They will half to make tackles in open field. If not Oregon will run for days. Open field tackling is a must this week.

I thought I would see what New Mexico's 2009 record was last year and

1-11 ... lead passer had 2,411 yards, lead rusher had 427 yards, and the lead receiver had 427 yards ... not exactly what I was expecting the way people are saying Oregon is so fast and talented ... UT-Martin would probably give New Mexico a good game

IMO UTM could beat NM, or at least play them to a 0-0 tie.
