i want him and i think he comes if he passes his classes this may

he is an immediate upgrade in Rb talent and he only needs one good year in FBS to jump into the NFL.

Not much risk involved since he would only likely be here for 6 months max.

Bring him on. If it works and he makes it to the NFL, CBJ can use it as a recruiting tool. If it does not work, what does UT lose? We gave the young man another chance.

Racist... JK of course. ( somebody had to do it)

Haha. It's racist either way: if you take him you're enabling his behavior and he doesn't learn his lesson. If you don't youre not willing to give the young man a chance at success in life. Just sayin for fun....

also, already been kicked off 2 teams, why the headache...this team is going in a new direction with new leadership...don't need old problems upsetting the enthusiasm that Jones and crew have created...

Oft times all these young men need is a fresh start, fresh faces that offer perhaps a more stringent view on life. Just because the young man made mistakes before - does not mean he will make the same mistakes again. Put it this way, if he learned from his prior mistakes that only means he has been humbled and learned a lesson.

I think there is a small risk in dividing the team..you are bringing in a guy who blew two chances over a guy who has done all the things asked of him...remember what Hubbs said about Bellamy how some on the team expressed concern about the photo and his time here on his official?

Disagree. If MD and CBJ agree on the young man coming to UT, he will have to compete just like everyone else. To spin this in a positive light, we could use Neal - Lane - Dyer in much the same way that 'bama uses a 2 or 3 set rotation. Less wear and tear on the backs.

Exactly. Besides, we need a big physical downhill every down back and we dont have one.

Considering our dearth of studly running backs and the fact that the Vol offense will rely more on the running game under Butch, I say give him a chance. The potential reward is definitely worth the risk. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

give him a chance. first time he messes up, give him the boot. That would send a strong message to the team, at little cost, if it didn't work out
