Derek Dooley should hand out bottles of honey to the players during halftime. I am not kidding. George Quarles does it at Maryville High School and look at their winning record since 2000. Their record currently is (163-10) with 8 state titles since 2000. They are currently undefeated right now. I heard it gives the players energy. It is a shot.

Yep. Honey being dispensed at halftime is clearly the reason Maryville is winning championships. Let's get this to Dooley fast.

I don't care what he needs to do at halftime, he's gonna have to change something! I absolutely LOVE Dooley! But what's happening at halftime has got to stop!

At this stage I agree with this. We have to do SOMETHING!

I think that when we go into the locker room, CDD needs to say his speech, players get taped, and then the last 10 minutes they should blast rap music, turn all the lights off, and just get wild and pumped up.

Put on the Decade of Dominance/Al Wilson highlight videos, some rap music, and they will be good to go

I think they just need to quit going in. Just stay in the stadium and let the crowd keep them pumped up. Coach from the sidelines and let the good times roll.

Honey is what the Europeans came to the Americas for. Energy and of course......tobacco.

Used to take a spoonful of honey before some of my races, it is a nice shot of energy that is for sure. A good tactic by Quarles to get his team hyped for the first couple plays in the second half. Obviously not reason for his success, but likely one of the examples of it. Winners tend to think outside the box and consider even the smallest of details.

Honey and duct tape solve most problems.

And I say we only play 2 quarters. We just leave at halftime.
