Republicans Trying to Start a Civil War in Texas

The eyes of Texas are upon ye ... or some such shat. The only thing Texas has going for it, is it isn’t Oklahoma, other than that it’s slim pickings.

Guess what the national response is inevitably going to be? Democrats being forced to gerrymander their states. This whole thing is stupid political theater.

You’re falsely assuming that hasn’t occurred

I gather you're not aware that most Americans favor pro-choice. Shhhhhh.... I won't tell a soul.
I gather you don’t realize that popular opinion has no impact on the Constitution. There is a method to change the laws embodied in the Constitution, and you are nowhere near having the votes to do it.

Last I checked, the Constitution didn't ban abortions. The Supreme Court (edit... eliminated the Constitutional right to have one) by overturning Roe v. Wade.

Have no fear, conservative/liberal power tends to ebb and flow. This is really more of a social / states rights issue than anything. When the SC becomes less conservative in the future, it'll likely be reversed once again.

I’ve been binging on COD Black Ops all day up in DFW for practice to make sure I’m ready.

Given that we're teetering on the edge of a complete deterioration of order, better fill up a squirt gun and practice some Mozambique drills for good measure. One can't be too prepared.

The supreme court did not ban abortions. You are either lying or uniformed. Per your fav ChatGpt says:

No, the U.S. Supreme Court did not ban abortion outright, but it did issue a major ruling in June 2022 that significantly changed abortion rights in the country.
In the case Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade (1973) and Planned Parenthood v. Casey (1992) — two landmark decisions that had previously guaranteed the federal constitutional right to abortion.

What the ruling did:
It did not make abortion illegal nationwide.
It removed federal protections for abortion rights.
It gave individual states the power to regulate or ban abortion as they choose.
As a result:
Some states have banned or heavily restricted abortion.
Other states have kept abortion legal and accessible.
The legal status of abortion now depends on the laws of each state.
If you're wondering about the status of abortion in a specific state or need help finding reliable information or resources, I can look that up for you.

I’ll pivot over to World War Z and practice for mowing down the onslaught of illegal immigrant waves by mowing down zombies. Toe-may-toe Toe-mah-toe 🤷‍♂️

No. It eliminating the constitutional right to abortion. Their ruling returned the power to regulate or ban abortion to individual states. Sorry if that came out sideways... Such a touchy subject.
Yes. They returned the power to the States. They did not ban it.

It is indeed a touchy subject. Which amplifies the need to be accurate when discussing it. No worries though.
