I watched his highlight film. Reminds me a lot of Kareem Hunt when he first came to the Chiefs, just a little lighter. He seems like a very patient runner and catches the ball out of the backfield well. I really think he can contribute.

1 WR (probably will play on second set of 3)
1 RB (probable second team)

What do we still need?
Another starting OL (especially if Karic can’t return)
A starting DB (especially if McCoy doesn’t recover quickly)
A starter or high level second team LB
A game changer DL pass rusher

Will be interesting to see which of these we prioritize at the next portal period after Spring practice.
I realize our 83 man roster prohibits too many more pickups unless we “encourage” a few to leave.

True. Our screen game sucks. Only screens we run are WR screens at the sideline. A good screen game is deadly and we don't have one to speak of.

Maybe. Nico likely only improves going forwards. Thomas is a very good receiving threat out of the back field. Gives us a little different element.

I know that OSU game left a bad taste in everyone's mouth but I fully expect them to dog walk the Irish tommorow night and there is no shame in losing to the best especially without three of your best weapons.

I say that to say this. The SEC will be wide open next season and with pieces like this there is no reason we can't make it to Atlanta and back to the Playoff. Nico will have another season to put on weight so he can run it more. When that happens teams will have to load the box and that will open those deep shots. Thats the reason Hooker went off.

I would have liked to see what we could’ve done with a different draw. I don’t think we were one of the best teams but that was a horrible draw. Ohio state was beyond pissed and playing at home. You get the most talented team at home with something to prove.

There will be some leave after spring. They will see they are just backups again and look for greener pastures. But it’s a must to add more
