Any new news? My aforementioned speculation regarding HCM was nothing more than speculation -- based on what I was released to the media re: "routine screening test" and probability.

What argues against the diagnosis is the word that he looks to return to competition soon. If he has true HCM, as rockydoc said, no Cardiologist will clear him.

Anyway, here's hoping for the best.

Talked to a very very very good source last night, and he said that Duke Crews will likely be done this year and its a ? if he'll be ready for next year. And Tabb wont see much time, unless some1 gets hurt, due to Pearl's 9-man rotation.

If Duke is able to play BB again, at what point does Pearl keep his redshirt and just not use him at all this year? He's already used BW redshirt to take Duke's spot in the rotation. If he is realeased in two weeks then it would take at least two weeks to get back in shape. That's a month. At what point does Pearl decide to keep Duke for a whole year or does he use him no matter where we are in the season?

I'd say if he isn't cleared to play in by the 2nd SEC game he will be done for the year. But that's just a guess with no real basis.

Too bad Tabb can't be reshirted. Too good of a player to waste a year. Redshirting Tatum was an extremely smart move. He will be just that much better 4 more years of Pearl's coaching.
