A terrific victory for the Vols demolishing New Orleans 18-4
The Vols win their 9th game on the 9th of March, and score double 9 runs.
Even when New Orleans finally scored runs, and looked like they were going keep it a close game it was for a short time.
With the win the Vols sweep New Orleans, and outscored them in two games 32-4 which is getting outscored by 4 touchdowns.
Vols score in 6 of 8 innings.

In 11 games the Vols lead the SEC with 36 stolen bases.
In the last 3 games the Vols have scored in the 5th 19 runs.

Next is a 4 game series with Manhattan which I think could be the best team they play in the first 16 games.

Thanks Freak,
I know it's early but geez. It must be the bats.:loco:
I hope they give me the only reason to go to Alabama.
GO VOLS!

I'm glad the Vols are winning and Duffy hit for the cycle, but they are playing below average competition. New Orleans is atrocious at 1-11 on the season. UNO committed four errors and Jerod Peper continues to struggle.

His line:

0.1 IP, 1 H, 3ER, 3BB, 1HBP.
