The man suspected of driving drunk and fatally striking an Indianapolis Colts player and his Uber driver early Sunday had twice been deported and was in the country illegally, police confirmed Monday.

Police say Manuel Orrego-Savala, 37, had a blood-alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit when he hit and killed Edwin Jackson, a 26-year-old Colts linebacker, and 54-year-old Jeffrey Monroe, Jackson's Uber driver, around 4 a.m. Sunday.

They dont have cars...my guys have to get my foot up their arses all the time for driving their 2002 Honda civic with a bolt in 6 ijnch supra wing on the back about 60mph in our construction projects...they should drive 10 or under...but none of them had cars in central or south America. They drive em like they stole em. These are my guys I am talking about...but its true.

The brew isnt new. The wheels are. That's why they get hammered and drive down the wrong side of the interstate and get in head on collisions too...happens all the time.sad

So, what's the story here? That he was here illegally, or that he was driving at 3 times the legal limit?

We know most illegals are law abiding citizens, they pay property tax, our economy could not survive if they weren’t here picking tomatoes, and of course they pay billions and billions into social security taxes that they will never be able to collect.

Why should American lives get in the way of these dreamers.

I'm sure the victims are happy for the percentages.

Don't act like this is about the victims. People get killed by drunk drivers every day. This is a thread because of who the culprit is. It's not about the victims. Trump humpers love anecdotal validation for their xenophobia.

The problem is there is no solution here. We deported the guy twice. What else can you do?

I would wager that an illegal alien could murder your family and you would hire an attorney to defend them.

We got to have the cheap labor to pick tomatoes.

Aww, what a precious little snowflake. You make a cute SJW.

What can we do? Drastically improve border security. Prevent people like this dude from coming here.

Absolutely. He puts cheap fruit above everything else. He values Illegals more than his family and neighbors.

A wall would be ok to keep them out. But it would seem as if they would quit coming here if there wasn't anything here for them. If they couldn't make a living or earn any money they'd likely quit coming here. To be deported twice and keep coming back means it is well worth it to be here.

I had this exact argument with a socialist the other night. I stated that the dims care much more about illegals for the potential of future votes for them than they do about their own citizens. It's sad and evil if you ask me.

Many of the Peasants from south of the border remind me of people who win the lottery that have never had a dime to their name. They don't know how to handle anything resembling a decent life and only make the lives of others around them worse and fool their opportunity away.

This is a good point too. If we stop giving any type of benefit to anyone here that is here illegally (no free school for the kids, no housing, no medical care for free, and no food stamps) then the problem vanishes over night.

Wouldnt bother deporting a 3rd time - throw him in a hard labor prison with the most violent criminals there are, for 60 years -- maybe he will last 5 at the most

You know these guys were standing outside of their car, unprotected on an INTERSTATE, yeah? Do you guys even know that fact or are you just focused on the illegal immigrant aspect?

A wall is not going to fix this, and neither is enhanced security. The determined individual will find a way. Walls are easily tunneled under, gates snuck through, etc.

Your second point is the key. It's too easy for an illegal to benefit by being in the US. Why go through a formal entry process?

How in the hell does it matter if they were in or out of the car??
