Drinkwitz post-game Auburn

Eli is a dead man walking and will be fired after Missouri's game with Arkansas

If he were more likeable, I would feel sorry for Drinkwitz.

Mizzu as a program is just trash. The SEC "bought" them at their historical high as a program. They add absolutely nothing that 50 other schools could also provide as apparently location no longer matters.

Agreed. Just like the Big 10 is regretting bringing in Rutgers and Maryland because of "geographical footprint."

Maybe I'm missing something but I actually like Drinkwitz.

Did people forget Pig Howard did basically the same thing?

Talking about Eli Drinkwitz he made a horrible mistake leaving Appalachian State for Missouri.
You know how in another thread we were talking about how coaches can be more selective than before because some G5 salaries are in the multi-millions? Drink was an exception to that. He was making "only" $750k at App and Mizzou pays him $4m. You don't really say no to that.

Can you imagine Tennessee having the luck Auburn did to win that game? That FG kicker would’ve hit a 60 yarder against us versus missing a friggin’ chip shot. Not to mention the guy fumbling the ball about 6” from the goal line.

I've never been impressed with Drinkwitz. He doesn't have a lot of talent relatively speaking, but he also does not make the most of what he has. Cornbread made him look silly during the 2020 game.

I don't know why in the hell Burden committed there. I know he's from St Louis, but still.

App State is turning into one of those schools where coaches have a lot of success there and then struggle at the next level. Very similar to Houston.
