Drinkwitz comments from last summer on UT and the NCAA investigation

I don’t have a problem with anything Drinkwitz said. Pruitt was going to extreme lengths to cheat and got caught. As a coach whose program had to compete directly against that, I don’t blame him for spiking the ball a bit and not using coach speak.

Now if he does again, aiming at CJH, that’s different. But we’re going to absolutely demolish Mizzou anyway that it doesn’t really matter.

Absolutely zero problem with what he said.

Good lord in this day and age simply stating facts is a "VILE OFFENSE".
Maybe he stated some facts there, but even Rome was shocked that he commented on an ongoing investigation into another program’s investigation. He also made light of the situation, which is usually not a good thing to trivialize someone else’s misfortunes.

Oh, it was absolutely stupid for him to make those comments on an ongoing investigation but lets not act like it was some offensive low-blow at Tennessee or Spurrier level jabs... or even Muschamp level "all these disappointed people".

Can someone please take a screen shot of the tweet? They have twitter blocked here at work so I can't read it. :(

It's a video and IDK the show or situation really. The comment tho was something about holding off on his W-L record because he expects some of TN wins against him to be vacated over violations. From Pruitt's time I assume

Edit: His comment was made last summer, not this week or anything

Vacate some of our wins? Ain’t happening. Also, how sad is it that we were so terrible and you still lost to us. Your only hope for wins against us is vacating old wins of ours
If that were the case then Bama and Georgia would need to vacate about twenty years worth of wins lol.. what a doofus

All I've ever had to say about cornbreads cheating is he had to have learned that somewhere ....

Not just somewhere, right from the start from one of the very best.

I’m obviously glad CJP is gone, but based on what we read from this summers NOA, I felt the allegations were fairly tame tbh. I think the fact that many of his players went on to immediately play for other schools without the SEC flagging them is something. Those were the guys that would have been getting benefits, I think. Maybe I missed something but as far as cheating goes in college sports, he was a lightweight.

No investigation had been concluded showing impermissible benefits were received by players prior to other teams offering and signing players.
