Drew Pember's Big Game...

I like to see it because it means we recruited guys who could be successful.

Maybe they weren’t the right fit or wanted to be starters, but we picked the right guys and that’s important.

In ETSU’s defense one of their best players left the team like 2 weeks ago so they are in for a tough rest of the season.

Great to see Drew doing well.
Anyone that watched the kid throughout high school had no concerns about his ability to score the ball. It was more about how does he defend and my fear was he'd be exposed defensively at UT.
Hope his success continues!

Pember lifts UNC Asheville past Bucs

Good to see Drew have success. Hate it was against Desmond's ETSU squad.

That's a great story and seems like Drew made a great choice for the school to continue his career. He was always a great teammate, enthusiastic whether playing or on the bench. Happy for him to be having success at UNC
Asheville.

Pember’s physique might call into question the S&C he received while here. I didn’t recognize him. Fulk still lacks the girth he ought to have after 6 years in the program.

He looks different with the beard. I don’t think his physique looks all that different. The S&C were just fine with Grant and Admiral.

Difference in wearing an undershirt that was skin tight at UT vs one that is looser at UNCA. Still think he's put on a bit of muscle but still quite the skinny frame.

Great to see Drew getting to continue his career. Funny to see him with facial hair. Always seemed like a great kid, great attitude, and a true team player. Wishing him all the best.

If there’s few things not to question about this program one is S&C.
To see the benefits of the weight program it takes 2 years of dedication to see the results and build on. Look at Nkamhoua, he's bigger overall and around 30 lbs bigger than when he arrived. Each athlete is different and the SC customizes their plan for them and position. It's not a one size fits all plan, if I remember Admiral and Grant did almost a complete transformation and lost weight/fat to play under Barnes but gained muscle.

Davonte, Anosike, and Jalen Johnson are having solid years at George Mason, CS-Fullerton, and Mercer. Zach Kent has only played in one game at Delaware State this year (a week ago).

EJ putting up way better numbers being a “go-to” guy. E.J. Anosike Game by Game Stats and Performance | ESPN

Jalen now plays for Mercer after a one year stint with Wake Forest. Putting up much better PPG (finally)
Jalen Johnson Game by Game Stats and Performance | ESPN

Davonte Gaines also getting more PPG with increased minutes:
Davonte Gaines Game by Game Stats and Performance | ESPN

EJ - 17ppg on 53% shooting
Jalen - 14ppg
Gaines - 11ppg

I’m not even going to lookup Zach Kent lol. I can’t believe he’s still on a team.

DJ Burns is Winthrop’s leading scorer and second leading rebounder. But he’s also leading the team in committing fouls which conflicts with what Barnes wants from his players.

Derrick Walker has started all 12 games for Nebraska. 9 ppg and 6 rpg. Shooting 80%.

Its important for a young athlete to judge themselves fairly and to go to the level they can succeed.
