Minnesota's defense will be the best in the NFC. You heard it here first.

P Manning and the Colts would throw all over that silly purple D. You heard it here first.

Baltimore won it with about the same mixture.

Good Running Game
Good all around defense.

The only factor is the how much Tarvaris Jackson can minimize the mistakes on obvious throwing downs. If he can pull a "Dilfer" then I could see the Vikes going deep into the playoffs. They defiantly have the guns to run away with the NFC North.

They've had a good running game for awhile now. With AD, they get a great running game. However, I'm not sure how long he'll stay healthy. Also, I doubt the defense is anywhere near as good as Baltimore's was in 2000. The defense probably scored as many points as the offense did that season. I think they won something like 5 straight games without scoring an offensive TD. Minnesota won't be able to do that.
