I don't agree with everything that MLK believed. However, his stands for non-violence, equality under the law, avoiding senseless wars, and judging others by what they do rather than the color of their skin are stands that I whole-heartedly embrace and cheer. He was a good man who fought in a good cause and was taken from this world much too soon.

What are some of the things you disagree with? I think gsvol posted last year something about being communist. Which I think is BS

Well... he had some socialist beliefs and he was big on unions. I can overlook those things though. Nobody is perfect. 'Cept maybe me. :p

What facts do you have that he was a womanizer and a communist? I don't give a **** what facts you have. As far as I'm concerned If it were not for him and others (people like you would call them trouble makers) marching, getting their heads busted open, thrown in jail, lynched, fire hoses etc. I wouldn't be able to get better job opportunities, attend school or church with my white brothers and sisters and date white women!! Oh but he's a communist. BS

Hell, I'd be a womanizer if I didn;t think my wife would gut me in my sleep.

Guy did alot of good.

Wasn't perfect.

I believe MLK did very good work. His work on behalf of minorities has been better for America than most anything any of us have done. He was not perfect. I am not perfect.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for him.
