Thought? It’s a long shot to get a career NFL coach especially a championship winner.
• 4 million a year salary coaching for the eagles so if Tennessee offered 6 to even make it entertaining.
• Tennessee would basically have to pull what Alabama did for Saban. Harass him like a spurned ex.
• a super bowl ring recruits better than a college championship ring since the ultimate dream is to be a super bowl champ.
• went to college in Louisiana so has ties to the South.
• Offensive minded coach that also knows how to build a complete team.
• Udder pipe dream lol but honestly became the homerun hire above freeze or Kiffin.

Pederson will be hired by another NFL team, and the Eagles will probably try to trade Wentz to whatever team hires him.

I had absolutely no hope, hence calling it a pipe dream. He still is the best option on the market and the best nfl option. I don’t think Tennessee would be able to stomach the check it would take anyways. I would argue it would be 8-10 million with the added work with recruiting.

No, Their relationship is trashed. Wentz and Pederson don’t really talk from what I understand. I would be surprised if he goes to the jets though.. that place is a dumpster right now.

Definetly worth a shot 💉, if he's even interested in the college game.

I thought I read the reason they fired Pederson was because he and Wentz were not getting along?

I don't think Pederson ever wanted to pull him, but Lurie is the boss. From the what has come out of his firing, it sounds like he had no plan that didn't involve Wentz being the starter next season, and that doesn't seem to be what Lurie wants going forward.

I guess we'll find out when the next coach comes in if Hurts is made starter, and Wentz is traded away.

I really think Pederson is a good coach, but that GM up there didn’t do him any favors. Drafting Hurts just killed Wentz’s confidence. I’m like you, he is one that looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. Needs to be reassured more than a bipolar housewife. Then the GM outlays that kind of cash to him and now they can’t target any FA. Total cluster, DP is better off I think.

Yeah, this game is getting old.

How about my mailman?
Yes very old very very old BUT until this football program is turned around or this fanbase just stop watching this is going to be the conversation. That is just a way of life for us find a coach that wins or stop watching because there is no other option. Either the current coach wins or we talk about the guy we believe can win. Now if you have something better please let me know. If you have anything outside of the two option I have talked that would really work you would be a rich man.

I really made this in a light hearted not really serious way. I understand that it gets old but unfortunately I’m tired of talking about why we should fire Pruitt so threw up this silly thread for conversation.

I’d say hey want 10 million a year? Wait for the line to go dead then move on lol.
I'd ask Urban if he'd take $12,500,000.00 a year and give him the same amount to hire his staff. That's $25,000,000.00 a year to win a couple championships. We'd fill Neyland for 8 games. At least $120,000,000.00 in ticket sales per year. Paid for and done. At least if my math skills are ok.
