I've said before, the real key is to make first downs and keep drives going...only vandy has punted more then we have this year...

Make first downs and ALL the RBs and receivers will get more opportunities...it seems like we either score, punt or fumble pretty quickly...love to see those 12 - 14 play drives that wear down a D...

Wasn't targeting either.

* How can you target someone who has their head up chasing a tackle?
* He was in agressive pursuit, not in a "defenseless" posture.
* If Warrior was trying to "target" that kid, he would not have pulled off the hit looking for another guy to block.
* It is clear that targeting is a highly subjective call, and these refs were happy to use the gray areas to benefit A&M wherever possible.

Rocky Goode (SEC replay official) said it was targeting because it was a blind-side block. I don't agree but as you said, it's subjective.

Really missing Alex Ellis this season. Hard to believe kid walked on as a QB

Said it before the season. Alex Ellis was one of the best blockers on the team. Used him to block the edge on sweeps and brought him in motion to be used as a lead blocker on inside runs.

Currently on the practice squad with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Such a bull**** call. Absolutely terrible.
