Marrone will be a popular candidate for several OC jobs both NFL and collegiate level and probably even some smaller HC jobs.

CDM would be a good pick-up, however I believe CJC should have his pick, which I'm just not sure that CJP will keep his hands out of this selection . . . I've said before that I don't believe CJC has had full control of the offense due to CJP meddling or mandating what is to be done within the offense meeting rooms from scheme to personnel.

GBO - beat Arky!!

His wife hates Knoxville. Wouldn’t look to see him back here.

Lol. Folks were wanting him as headcoach just a few years ago....

Simply because he didn't make in the NFL doesn't mean he isn't a good coach and quite frankly would be a better option than Pruitt, he had a .500 record at Syracuse with two bowl wins. That isn't Earth shattering but considering Syracuse has been 38-59 since he left, it's a pretty good record.

Marvin Lewis did.

When exactly did that happen?

"CO-DC" is the essentially same as a position coach position but you're going to argue semantics. The point is that it isn't that much of a stretch. Also, I started my original post by saying "No idea if he wants to go back to being a position coach". Lots of guys go from being a fired HC to being a position coach. NFL or College, the checks still spend and Marrone is a guy who has bounced between the two.

So which defensive position is he coaching? Pierce is the Co-DC/LB coach, Rodriguez is their DL coach, and Hawkins is the DB coach.

He's listed solely as CO-DC btw.

The only reason he is there is due to Herm Edwards being the head coach, nothing more

There is a tie between Pruitt and Marrone. Marrone is Boots Donnelly son in law. Remember Pruitt played for Boots at MT 93 and 94 before transferring back home to Alabama. He very well may plug Marrone for a job in Knoxville. Mixed signal on this one; not saying Marrone isn’t a winner but why would you want to come here? This ship is already taking on water.
