Hey DOOL-HEADS, its that time again. IT'S REALITY TIME and I your host.

Topic: Offensive Line (Running Game vs Non-SEC Teams)

Excuse 1: We are young
Excuse 2: We dont have any talent
Excuse 3: We have no depth
Excuse 4: Injuries have hurt the passing game

Counterpoint:

Against Montana: 46 carries for 128 yards, 2.8 yds per carry. (Montana averaged 3.7 yards per carry)

Against Cincinnati: 35 carries for 126 yards, 3.6 yards per carry. (Cincinnati averaged 6.4 yards per carry)

(After Justin Hunter Injury)

Against Buffalo: 44 carries for 199 yards, 4.5 yards per carry (Buffalo averaged 5.3 yards per carry)

(After Tyler Bray Injury)

Against Middle Tennessee: 45 carries for 120 yards, 2.7 yards per carry (MTSU averaged 4.6 yards per carry)

Now, my point is simple. The most basic princple in football is the ability to run the football. Based on the factual information above, Tennessee has failed to do this against even non-SEC teams.

170 carries for 573 yards, 3.3 yards per carry

So DOOL-HEAD, is your arguement really going to be that we have

Excuse 1: We are younger
Excuse 2: We have less talent
Excuse 3: We have less depth
Excuse 4: Injuries have hurt the passing game

than these teams???? REALLY, I think we can agree that a change to the O-Line and RB coaches is needed. The head coach can stay, oh yeah, he coaches the running backs. :birgits_giggle:

Everyone says theat he needs time to compete against the SEC, it is year two and he has yet establish the run on non-SEC teams. If this is the case and a strong running game is critical to winning in the SEC, how many years is it until we can establish the run against SEC teams. Remember, these linemen will be gone in 2 seasons and it may take them that long to average 4 to 5 yards a carry against Sunbelt or Division II teams.

Oh and before someone brings up the 111 yards against LSU, heres a breakdown on the rushing totals against SEC teams

168 carries for 347 yards, 2.1 yards per carry

3.3 against non-SEC teams
2.1 against SEC teams

Spin that DOOL-HEADS, let me guess, its time to piss the bed to stay warm. Got to keep him for another year that way we dont hit rock bottom. :eek:lol:

WAKE UP. This is the offical kick-off of my new campaign

NO YEAR THREE FOR DOOLEY
NO YEAR THREE FOR DOOLEY
NO YEAR THREE FOR DOOLEY

Wow!!!

It's one thing to think and say the things you said above...it's a whole other thing to resort to such a level of douchebaggery to get you're point across...

This post is so full of douche....you're truly a douchebag coated douche with douchebag filling...

Here...I've even found a theme song for you:

"Here he is, the Biggest Douche of the Universe! In all the galaxies, there's no bigger douche than you!"

"You've reached the top, the pinnacle of douchedom! Good going, douche. Your dreams have come true!"

Way to go douche!!

I'd rather have Lou Holtz try to pronounce Mississippi three inches from my face then read another post like this.

several stories on the internet that urban meyer has agreed in principal to accept the h.c. position at ohio state. while i have questions as to whether he is as great a coach as some people believe, there's no doubt that he's on everyone's short list. i presume that hammy had 2008 and 2009 versions of that short list but that may be overestimating him. at any rate, he couldn't get a call back from anybody on it which sent him scurrying through the bush leagues for a ten million dollar coach with one winning season to his name (flame if you want doolovers, but have the decency to show me where i'm wrong). here we are, nearly two seasons later and still headed south. our only achievement is in the quantity and ingenuity of our excuses.

Agreed. I think I was able to ignore at least half of the orange overall brigade based on the responses to the op on the first two pages.

PS: If you're thinking about responding to this post I've probably ignored you.

You can't possibly think that his logic made any sense at all. He might have a point, but the argument was poor, even for my second grader.
