Right now we're like the Germans in World War II. Here comes the boats, they're coming. You have the binoculars, and it's like, 'Oh, my God, the invasion is coming.' That's what they did, they were in the bunkers. It's coming, they call Rommel -- they can't find Rommel. (Pretending to speak into a radio.) 'What do we do? I'm not doing anything until I get orders.' (Pretends to look through binoculars.) 'Have you gotten Rommel yet?'

-- "All right, and the Americans were the exact opposite. We hit the beach, and we were on the wrong spot. 'What do we do? I don't know, but these guys are firing and we better hide over there and blow some stuff up to get up there.' They weren't looking for (help). That's where we've got to make that transition.

-- "I don't want the German people to get upset at me. I'm not attacking them, but that's what happened. You had one group, they weren't worried about what the plan was and orders and all that. When the war hits, things change. You've got to go. You had the other group, and they go, 'Wait a minute. They told us the invasion was way further north' where we had the empty tanks and we were hidding Patton out. 'We weren't ready for this, now what do we do?' 'We better wait until Rommel tells us what to do.'

-- "I hope I got my names right."

And CDD's next quote was "I'M A MAN!!! I'M 40!!!

This sounds like something Joe Pa' would say.

I don't understand why everything is so damn fun n games with Dooley? He just got his ass whipped and he's cracking jokes. Where is the fire that MOST head coaches have? Why is this ok with him. I would be embarassed, I would be mad, I would not be making excuses. It's like we've hired a sideshow.

So he is interesting to listen to and tells stories and that means he's not spending enough time coaching? Fail.

After getting blown out on ESPN at home by our biggest Rival, I do not want to hear any humorous stories from our head coach right now.

I really don't care for any quotes I've heard from him all year. He's not funny, even though I'm sure he thinks he is.

So our current Vols are playing the part of he Nazis. Aside from the sheer idiocy of even making that link, why the hell can't we blitz worth a flip?

I figured there would be a lot more things our fans would want to complain about than Dooley telling a story at a press conference.

He was using a relevant analogy. What do you geniuses expect him to say. "We are working like heck?" "We just have to keep working on getting better?" "We get a little better every week?" "We need to learn how to be better leaders?" Or, any other coach speak cliches or platitudes. It doesn't matter a hill of beans what he says. NONE!!!!!
