If Dooley aint the guy then who is?? Its been 2 freakin years ppl and every year its the same ol crap on this sit! If we was to fire Dooley who would we bring in? If we fired Dooley its gonna take 2 or 3 more years and half of yal are gonna be complaining the same way you are now. Every time we win its all "DOOLEY IS THE ANSWER" and when we lose "DOOLEY IS AWFUL"!! We didnt play a bad game last night all around 1 big pass play lead to a TD and one God awful PA call lead to another touchdown!! The only thing that i will complain about is if we cant run the ball dont try 3 out of the 4 plays we have!! Have a great week VOL fans and bring on the Tigers!!

I'm not a happy camper and I hate losing. But Dooley didn't throw fantom flags, snap balls over QBs heads, tackle Zack Rogers(with no flag), etc. We were actually in that game after playing absolutely teriible football. It wasn't a coaching or lack there of issue. Pitiful play equals pitiful results.

dooley's only in his second year. Ga isn't that good and richt's in year 10. Dooley should get a few more years.

I don't think it's Dooley's fault at all. His coordinators' game plans last night had me scratching my head.

I believe Dooley will succeed. The Vols have a lot of work to do to be top tier again and I think Dooley is young and competitive enough to get the job done, if not next year then the year after. He knows SEC football and was weaned on it growing up. Give him time, he didn't create the mess we're in and it's not going to fix itself overnight. We must though get some type of running game going. Poole did over a thousand yards last year with basically the same offensive line and they were a year younger .... what changed? The defensive backs can not give up those big plays! It could have easily been a 34-12 final score. The best we can hope for the remaining tough games (most of them) is to hold their scoring down to look reasonable. When I coached soccer for 10 years, I always had a strong defense, even pulling offensive talent back to defense to accomplish it. My thinking was "if they couldn't score, I was always still in the game" ... won 3 championships that way and was runner-up about 5 other times. Offense sells tickets but defense wins championships!

You play the hand you're dealt. Dooley is in year two of a six-year contract, with a high buyout. We need stability, and we're paying the price for compounding mistake upon mistake upon mistake. Maybe we can staff up around him, and see if we can't stop some of the bleeding. Then recruit well and see if we can't get a better mix of experience and new talent going forward.
