We couldn’t ask for a better head coach at this exact moment in the history of our football program.

When things are in shambles (as LK left them) then you MUST HAVE someone to organize it and put it back together.

DOOLEY is AN ORGANIZER EXTRAORDINAIRE.

Dooley is Analytical, Serious and purposeful, and Very Talented.

Our new head coach is Self-sacrificing, Conscientious, and Idealistic

Dooley keeps everything in order. He is schedule oriented and hard working.

He’s a list maker and list keeper. He knows his team, his players, and his staff. He is most capable. He is also a great and amazing exorter. When he gives you complements, he means it and it means something because he is very, very smart. Dooley treats his players like he is a parent and sets high standards for them and wants everything done right.

Dooley comes from Football, has breathed football, grown up football, played football, ate football. UT can get the players. Dooley can organize their play in greatness. Dooley is the right choice. Quit doubting it.

But definitely beware oh weak minded fan who forgets so easily what LK did to our program because Dooley might become offended by your simple mindedness. Why do you not realize you can induce insecurity into our program (your program) by having diarrhea of your own thoughts squirtting out onto your own keyboards. Learn a simple lesson in life right here right now for yourself, “build it up, if you want it built up” but don’t “tear it down, or it will be torn down.” (I did just put that thought together – cudos to me)

These are young men, young players, and new coaches. YOU MUST GIVE THEM TIME! THEY WILL BE GREAT! BUT your diarrhea of negative thoughts squirting out onto the computer screen doesn't just stink but does more harm than good. Shewwwww it's so smelly. Sheww!

Year Zero was last year. Year ONE is this year. Don’t push a low self image on our team or our culture because if you DO have such high standards for themselves and others then YOU SHOULD SHOW HIGH STANDARDS as a Fan. It’s oxy moronic. Again, “tear it down and it will be torn down”, “build it up and it will be built up.”

Dooley is the one. He has the right organization skills and ability to get it done. He's motivated can't you tell. Look at his actions. Don't worry. Dooley and Staff will put everything back in order in time.

It would be SO FOOLISH TO RUN THEM OFF AND PUT OUR PROGRAM FURTHER BACKWARDS AND REPEAT THE MISERY.

Dooley will not quit until he has it turned around. Why you ask? Because he is a perfectionist and his staff is Duly Complimentary. His staff is Dooley Complimentary. Ha

Next year the offense has Bray Hunter Rogers Arnett Rivera Dallas Lane Croom and possibly Patterson

If we don't win next year (8 at least) I'd say then you ask what the next step is.

With the dismissal of Janzen, Lathers, Hunter, and Bray injured our team has understandably deflated. We have not been more talented than any team we have lost to.

Barring injuries, Tennessee should win at least 9 next year.

Was there anything in that manifesto about being able to coach a team to win games? If not, the sum of all of the rest of those qualities aren't worth squat as a football coach.

I still believe in this team's ability to grow into a good team by next year (9 wins). I will withhold all judgment on the staff until next year then I believe it will be relatively apparent as to whether or not any changes need to be made. That being said the OL still is something I do not understand.

Chaney is fine... Wilcox and Hiestand eh...

Chaney has been the least impressive so far, is Hiestand a product of Chaney's scheme or is Hiestand doing his own thing with the O line.

Do you see Dooley as an SEC championship winning coach?

I don't believe anyone is in a position to say for sure. What has he ever had to work with? But personally I believe in his ability to eventually get it done.

This. 8 wins is a must, no exceptions (barring any serious injuries next season).

I mean, we can sit here and say that he's the right coach, or he isn't. Fact is, nobody knows.

Now, if we were to base it off of prior history, then there's nothing to suggest that Dooley will win an SEC title while here. I definitely believe that the guys do need time to develop, but I don't get where people are saying that he's an SECCG winning coach, unless they are wearing orange glasses.

At full strength with personel the passing game was fine. Run game I'm not sure who to point the finger at... Dooley knows it's a problem... And his track record thus far shows he removes people who he sees as a problem

This. If there is one thing that sticks out to me about CDD it's that he is extremely analytical. He will seek out the problem and do whatever it takes to fix it. He knows we have to run the ball to win, and you have to win to stay at Tennessee.

If he wants to stick around for the long haul this may become necessary at some point, hopefully he finds the problem sooner than later.
