You can say what you want. But Dooley can recruit with anyone. I really do hope he is Tennessee coach for a long time. He is recruiting top 10 classes in the nation and we went 6-7 and 5-6 in the last two years. When we win 8 or 9 games this year, Dooley and his coaches will turn into a recruiting beast. I am starting to think he can recruit with Alabama and LSU. When you play for a national championship it is easy to recruit. Now with Dooley, Sal, Graham, Pittman, our recruiting will only improve and we will be back on top. You will see.

Dude, it is an unwritten law to never post anything positive on the football forum. Come back to recruiting please.

Add in the fact he & current staff appear to be holding on to most or all comitts after having 5 AC's leave within a month of NSD. Might be an even better job than he did holding on to his first class after LK left so suddenly, and pulled in Rogers and Hunter to boot!

You left out Joseph. I used to be a hater specially after seeing how our DB's performed but has been tearing it up on the trail. One of the biggest reasons this class didn't implode after the coaching changes.

What top 10 class? We would have won last year if he would have signed two top 10 classes.

It just says that the talent level is getting to a point where he better start winning more than one SEC game in a season. I'm not saying 7-8, but he should be able to win 4-5 next season if he can coach. That, plus a 4-0 or even 3-1 OOC record would put us at 7-5 or better.

Yeah, I'm a little confused about the top 10 classes line. I guess UT was ranked #10 last year. But that's only one.

I think his first year, Kiffin had us at #3 per rivals and Dooley came in and was able to salvage the #9 ranked class, then in 2011 they had the #11 ranked class per rivals. Maybe not two top 10, but I get his point! Close enough!

^^ Dooley's first real class, as the first he had a week or two just to save it..

and then this year, he will finish in top 10 again

that equals consistency.

Im still confused about the reasons you have for coming to our boards EVERY day. I am not one of these guys that says you should never come here at all, but every day is a little weird. It feels like your that girl in school you didn't want anything to do with, but she just refuses to get the hint and just keeps calling and calling even though you never answer... :banghead2:

Every coach has been able to recruit at UT - Majors, Fulmer, Kiffin, etc, regardless of the most recent w/l record. If fact, if you can't land a top 10-15 year in year out, then you're an incompetent recruiter. So yes, Dools seems like an adequate recruiter, but so has every other UT HC.

None of the recent coaches had to recruit under the same circumstances as Dooley. Calling him adequate would be a massive understatement. Imagine how he will recruit after he is going BCS bowlin

Listen, give the guy a break. Its' not easy being from another state and wanting to root for the Tennessee Volunteers. Just give him time. :p
