Dooley is the one that found Muschamp and Smart at Valdosta St. and recommended them to Saban.

Interesting facts... I had no idea. I feel better about Dooley with each passing day. I was very skeptical at first but I think we got a gem. As for Muschamp he seems to be one of the top DC's in college but Im not comparing him to a head coach until he mans up and takes that challenge on himself.

One thing you can say about Dooley, he went to a small college to try his hand at coaching....Muschamp thinks he can go straight to a great college without being tested.

I agree... Muschamp may end up turning down one too many head coaching jobs.

"You can stay as coordinator for a long time at a premier institution and jump to a premier job or you can choose to go ahead and go get your nose bloody," Hamilton said. "He did that, and I can appreciate that."
