Not like they had any choice after they let Leonard Little come back.

The NFL would probably take Rae Carruth back, if he wasn't going to be 44 by the time he gets out. Heck, they'd probably even take O.J. back.

Roger Goddell's personal conduct policy is a joke, just like the criminal justice system in Florida. First, the state of Florida lets the man who murdered Mario Reyes off after serving only 24 days, then the NFL commish lets him back into the league after one season just like nothing ever happened.

Mario Reyes wasn't murdered, but saying he was certainly spices up the argument.

The guy who was playing golf during a thunderstorm was struck by lightening and killed. He was murdered by mother nature correct? Oh yeah that sounds like a accident, caused by negligence.
Mario Reyes was running across a busy intersection at daybreak, the hardest time to see a line of sight, he was jaywalking which is against the law. Donte was barely over the legal limit after sleeping it off, which alot of us have done ourselves so get off the self righteous kick. Saying this is murder is one of the most retarded arguments i have ever heard. Both parties did a stupid thing and paid the price.
I mean im sure we would all go play in traffic if we knew every driver was sober right? I mean it's not like somebody could hit us.

Listen i know my opinion is apparently unpopular, i can live with that, im not trying to start a flame war here, just my take. Sometimes i feel we get so absorbed with perception of certain athletes who get in trouble we don't look at simple facts in front of our face. Example, a few years ago down here in Florida an elderly man struck a homeless man walking across the road and drug him a quarter mile down the road before he realized what happened. Putting aside the fact he had the reflexes of an 80 year old, he also was taking 12 different prescription medications which included pain killers. Did we rant and rave this poor old fellow was a murderer? Of course not, he was just a old man who made a mistake, God knows the pills and being 80 years old had nothing to do with his reaction time, or the fact he probably didn't even know where he was at the time.

Stallworth had a blood-alcohol level of .126 after the crash, well above Florida’s .08 limit. Police estimated Stallworth was driving about 50 mph in a 40 mph zone. He (Stallworth's Attorney) noted that Stallworth stopped immediately after the accident, called 911 and submitted to roadside alcohol testing despite spending most of the night drinking at a swanky Miami Beach hotel. This is what was reported and accepted as fact in the case. Murder, no. DUI Manslaughter, yep. Punishment..slap/slap. I'm not looking to argue either, just wanted add the facts.

I've been wondering this for a while...what does your screen name say/mean?

It's a takeoff of the Sec. Gen. of the U.N. at the time I started using the name. His name was Boutros Boutros-Ghali. Somehow, the UT's in his name stuck out like a beacon to me. Not enough letters for me to correctly spell it...but.... :eek:k:
