Lighten up on the Bray-bashing, folks!

I can't believe some of the absolutely moronic posts I'm reading here... people questioning whether Bray even cares about the team, slamming his 'lack of talent', and telling him to pack his bags and go away. REALLY!?!?

I think there's little doubt that there's alot more to the Dooley/Bray situation that will evenutally come to light once coach is gone. In the meantime, try to act like a real fan, and cut out the Bray slams.

Those that don't know their history are doomed to repeat it.

Remember that former Vol Arian Foster? The one some Vol "fans" dubbed "Fumbles"? The same Arian Foster who was benched by Fulmer during his Senior year, and now is one of the premier running backs in the NFL? Hmmm... guess the kid might have had some talent after all, huh?

Do yourself a favor, Bray-slammers: Read the following article. Foster mentions that "Those [Vol] fans were crazy."

Also per the article, "Volunteer fans now post on their message boards that they 'Always loved Arian Foster.'"

Sound familiar? Arian's talking about you -- Bray-slammers -- the type of fan that always looks for a scapegoat and levels blame on the shoulders of 19-20 year-old kids. Arian doesn't mean "crazy" in a good way, BTW.

Look, everyone's frustrated with this absolute disaster of a season. The wheels have fallen off the bus. But, please, folks, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Please, read the following article, show some restraint, and recognize how difficult it is to actually BE ON THIS TENNESSEE FOOTBALL TEAM right now.

Vol players deserve our support, not bashing.

I like Bray and I'm not going to bash him. But who is "Adrian Foster"? I see you fixed it now haha.

Sorry buddy , but it comes with the territory. Its part of what makes them better prepared for the NFL. It did appear that Tyler didnt give a crap, but he probably did us a favor in the long run. Bottom line is....

Dooley is like a horse with 4 broken legs and Hart needs to take him out of his misery and by doing so he will also releive us (the fans) of the pain were in every week too.

If anyone should be blamed its the defense. Bray is putting up some of the best numbers in the sec and has great weapons all over the field. Dooley is just ruining his chance for a great year.

The pain the fans feel can't even be close to what players like Bray feel.

who cares about arian foster. he's just mad cause he couldn't hold on the ball when he needed too. that trend will repeat in the nfl this season at some point.

Bray deserves to be hammered on. EVERY game that involves teams getting to him and pressuring him he falls apart. He has no football sense to find the hot read and make the correct throw. The radar gun they showed is a BS meter for judging pro talent. I am sure Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf could light that gun up too.

I really don't see how anyone can blame DD for Bray's ineptness. I am not saying DD should stay but to not place any blame on Bray is short sighted. Bray is great in easy games but he has no ability or interest, in being the mature on the field leader that this team needed.

My husband, bless his heart, threw the remote down and screamed that he couldn't take any more of this sh** while the game was on. So, we watched Armageddon. Same thing. I still don't know why Bray was benched??

As I watch the Clemson highlights, I'd like to send out a big thank you to Kiffhole for running off Tajh Boyd in favor of Tyler Bray.

Sorry to say, but Bray deserves the negativity that surrounds him. Until he grows up and becomes a man nothing will change. Hope we get a coach that straight up tells him to lose the attitude and get some class or get the heck out. JMHO

will tyler come back for his senior year or go pro??

I doubt Bray is strong enough to hold a clip board on the next level. Have any of you seen what a beating and the hits that the MEN QBs take, what in goodness sake makes you think this beanpole could stand up to any of that. Let alone his attitude and heart!! Give me a break...... :eek:lol:

I'll say it again and again, Tyler Bray is NOT a pro quarterback. Other than being 6'-6" tall what else have you seen that makes him a pro QB ? If there is any pressure he folds up like a cheap tent.

I love the "You can't blame Dooley for Bray" argument, because it's probably the worst one out there. I'm pretty sure somewhere in Dooley's contract they mention a requirement about coaching, well most evidence points to Bray having not been coached up hardly at all during his three years here(coaches also coach maturity too, or at least most do). So get off of Bray, yes he deserves his share of the blam for last night's loss but bashing the kid and telling him to leave is just an unintelligent, ignorant way of communicating that.

On a side note, we wouldn't even have 4 wins without Bray.

Bray is too soft to make it in the pros. Knock him down, and he is like a deer in the headlight the rest of the game.

Chaney had no adjustment for Bray to make - its all on Chaney -- Vanderbilt had the gameplan and Oline figured out -

Correct. Most of Brays "big numbers" have come against inferior defenses. His leadership ability seems to be lacking as well.
