Don Mahoney. I've seen close to no progress on the OL since USU game. I know it's a young line, but they are just downright pathetic at times.

Glad your not the AD. Butch is in his second year. Dooley got 4 years. Dooley is the reason we had to replace both the O-line and D-line this year.

I didn't even mention firing Butch. I think Butch should stay.

Didn't mean to like your post, sorry about that. You have no idea what he is working with. He is Patch Adams.

Uh watch the Oklahoma game and then watch the UGA or UF game. Our O-line has definitely improved, but they still are extremely young. What HAS NOT improved is our piss poor, middle school play calling. Our "read option/zone read" is utter horse crap.

I have no idea what he's working with, yet I acknowledged their youth in my post. I just haven't seen any improvement. Thomas getting blown up once a drive is such an eyesore.

The line definitely has issues, but the fumble on the sack is at least partially Worley's fault. He should have seen the sack coming.

Someone needs to be fired just as a matter of principle when you make people sit through a performance like this one. It is inexcusable.

But if you have ever heard our OL coach try to speak English you won't wonder why the linemen seem to always be confused. I swear he can't put together an intelligible sentence.

There is just no way you can convince anyone that Butch had the best staff possible for UT when he was at Cincinnati. Given the resources here he can do much, much better and if he ties his future to this offense and this coordinator he is going to go down with them.

Has Worley been blindsided at least once a game? He's improved a ton, but he needs to be more aware sometimes.

Good Lord man... We don't need to fire anyone. We need this offensive coaching staff to get better with their play calling. The plays are there they just need to repeat the plays that have worked. And stop running the plays that do not. After several games, they will know which plays this team executes well, and which ones we don't.

I don't why we call it a read "option" if Worley NEVER pulls it and runs. If he just pulled it once in a while they would have to respect it and our RB might have a few more open lanes.

I'm not for firing anyone. This team needs continuity and to know that is a family. Coaching and playcalling will improve with more talent and experience which is what we are getting. I like that the team fought to the very last play.

Its not time to fire anyone yet. Our defense is obviously way ahead of our offense. Just wait till the offense is built around a qb that can challenge sec caliber defenses.

Exactly. And to those saying it's not a read option or zone read but simply looks like it....then WHAT IS THE POINT? Why are we taking an extra 2 seconds to hand the ball off to make it LOOK like a zone read that isn't a zone read? Does not compute.

And on top of that, Worley was wide open for the keep a few times today. And I may have missed some.

Today's sack/fumble from Worley was not a blindside.

My apologies if I am wrong, but my recollection is the collapse of the weak (right) side of the line. I was thinking a back should have been in place to pick up the weak side pressure.

It's all good. I can't remember all that happened on that play. I just remember seeing a blitzer that was going to have a wide open shot at Worley and thinking "Oh Sh*t, he's not paying attention."
