UT MBA (both regular and executive) is decent but not top notch like some of the Top 25 US schools. We are very middle of the pack program, kind of like our football program in SEC east :)

It’s nice to be recognized as a program. But I’ve always wondered if Executive MBA programs carry much clout in the business world these days. I know they did not with the company I retired from.

Not sure what the hell you guys are talking about because my wife has an MBA from UT and was hired by fedex before she graduated. After that she was recruited by a Fortune 100 company and since risen to Exec VP that makes my pilot salary seem like I’m on welfare. Don’t underestimate the value of an MBA even from lowly Tennessee. 🙄 sheesh...

Middle of the pack football program that hasn’t looked better than anyone but Vandy.

They do if it's a Fortune 500 type company. I've seen many a young manager fast tracked for executive level positions sent to Vandy and/or Michigan for their MBAs at company expense.
