Why interview Freeze or Briles if they don’t fit your offensive philosophy? Makes zero sense. If they don’t fit why even entertain 2 guys that have a suspect background? My thinking is he’s an idiot. He tried to hire these guy hoping they’d conform to him and get them super cheap bc of there shady past. It’s one thing to strike out on one, but to strike out on 2? It’s they either said FU I’m not coming to work for you and have to change my style and for very little money, or Someone like Phil is preventing it. Both Pruit and Phil are literally learning on the job. Which shouldn’t be happening here at TN.

The first problem is you wrote all of this and still used the phrase "My thinking." The second is you act as if Tennessee is still as attractive for coaches as a top 10 program; which we are not. This program is two+ years away from winning 8+ games a year against SEC teams and that is assuming recruiting goes well. Let the professionals do their job and stop judging them on your false perception of reality and timing. If they hire a dud I will be the first to apologize for this post but do yourself a favor and relax my fellow weary and battered Vol.
