I wondered about that, but I doubt he has taken any reps since the summer. Tough to get that many guys practice time. Who could have imagined that we would be looking at going to the 3rd or 4th guy at QB?

tennesee sucks....I formally renounce any connection with Tennessee. They fit a lil too well in the pink pumps....they are weak on D...they wait for a back to get to them to make tackles...even then they miss..they have no aggresion and they suck ....again....dons was right...and the inner circle shut him down but he was right....Tennessee sucks...thay have no guts, no balls and it shows...im pulling for kentucky and vandy

I'm sorry, but I find it very hard to believe that Rick Clausen is better than C.J. Leak.

No, it does nothing but hurt BCS chances. Only losses to Vandy and UK would hurt that.. Can Clausen beat them both? Not by himself, no. Our O-line looked like Swiss cheese. 4th and 1 and we dont pull any misdirection.... get stuffed. I'm sure alot of Notre Damers will come talking smack about how they beat us.. This game we really did beat ourselves and gave the game away.

I really don't think Rick did all that bad. If the o-line would have given him more time, maybe he could have completed more passes. At least snap the ball to him. :bash:

I must say this one hurt! but Hey the D played great once again they only gave up one TD to ND!!

Glad we got a bye week we will have a much healthier team!!!!


Ainge should be able to go in 2 weeks right?

To reply to the thread... I'm almost certain that who makes it to the SECCG is determined only by conference record. So if Auburn beats Georgia, we get our rematch.

I felt the same way about 15 mins ago. It'll be alright and Tennessee will bounce back. It's becoming a very frustrating season. You never know which Tennessee team will show up. If I could sum up the 2004 Vols, it would be one word...inconsistent. Hang in there, Dan!

This loss has nothing to do with us and the SECCG it did hurt our BCS bowl hopes though for an at large! But we take care of Vandy and Kentucky we will be in ATL!!

Like I've said, don't pay attention to our BCS ranking. All we need to do is focus on beating Auburn. That's the way it's been all season. Don't be suprised to see Tennessee floating around #20 after today. But DON'T GET DISCOURAGED -- Beating Auburn is what we have to do, period.

I thnik its a good thing we won't be getting a BCS game because I don't think we matchup with anybody in the top 10. Sad to say, but without the QB's we lose to Auburn and go the Citrus Bowl again!!!

Actually, as long as we win out, UGA could beat Auburn and we&#39;d still go. If we each have one conference loss, then the tiebreaker is head-to-head... we beat &#39;em in their house. It sounds like E MAY be ready to go in two weeks, they said they would re-evaluate the injury day by day.

Come on Dan,I feel the same way some times.I expect nothing but a win from our team,week in and week out.I think this team has done a fairly good job with rookie qb&#39;s.

You&#39;ve got to be joking?&#33;?&#33; This team has won every close game this year, and this one would have been no different if it wasn&#39;t for a key injury. I hate losing too, but did you HONESTLY think at the beginning of the season that we&#39;d be looking to go to Atlanta and vie for an SEC Champ.? 7-2? Are you kidding me, most of us had the vols at 5-4 or so. Be proud of what our kids have done.
