That's the big question. I really see no reason why Kentucky shouldn't be able to build a top 25 program, year in and year out. If Louisville can do it, Kentucky sure as heck should be able to do it. Big wins like the one last Saturday can only help with recruiting.Do the Kentucky fans feel that after the pass and catch tandem leaves, that you guys will go back to "kentucky football, e.g.; 7-5 & 6-6?"
a coach the caliber of Petrino would help as wellThat's the big question. I really see no reason why Kentucky shouldn't be able to build a top 25 program, year in and year out. the last time we stepped on the feild with Clemson, and overrated Clemson beat us in a similar meaningless bowl.they beat an overrated Clemson team last year and beat probably one of the weakest defenses in division 1-A football last week
is it really rising when there was but one option. Think about it McCat, one step above hell will likely be unbearably hot as well, don't you think?i think when you're talking KY football, it's all relative.
they beat a top 10 team. McCat...when was the last time KY did that in a non basketball sport?
and they won their bowl last year.
at KY, these are significant in football. we Vol fans scoff at the notion of being excited about it, however, we've lost to the two top 10 teams we've played, in decisive manners. KY has beaten theirs.
so all things being equal....yes, KY is on the rise.
