1984 was the last time if i remember correctly. this is just knowledge so i'm probably wrong. I would've been 3 years old.

Do the Kentucky fans feel that after the pass and catch tandem leaves, that you guys will go back to "kentucky football, e.g.; 7-5 & 6-6?"
That's the big question. I really see no reason why Kentucky shouldn't be able to build a top 25 program, year in and year out. If Louisville can do it, Kentucky sure as heck should be able to do it. Big wins like the one last Saturday can only help with recruiting.

a coach the caliber of Petrino would help as well

who said Kentucky was on the rise?, they just have a good QB this year, i expect them to fall back into mediocrity in another year or two, just like Ole Miss after they lost Eli

several people said it, I just want to know who lost their mind and conceded the point.

If KY can somehow parlay back-to-back bowl seasons and the win over the Ville into some recruiting gains I could see the Kats re-establishing themself as a mid-tier SEC squad.

Adjustments.
Fulmer has many faults, recruiting is not one of them.

I believe Fulmers biggest fault is he has lost the fire that he had 5-6 years ago, hence the article about the player in the Florida game quiting on the play.Players reflect their coach.:banghead2:

they beat an overrated Clemson team last year and beat probably one of the weakest defenses in division 1-A football last week
the last time we stepped on the feild with Clemson, and overrated Clemson beat us in a similar meaningless bowl.

and i'd shutter to think what L'ville's offense would do to our defense. judging by what i've seen in 2 of 3 games, i bet i have a good idea.

i think when you're talking KY football, it's all relative.

they beat a top 10 team. McCat...when was the last time KY did that in a non basketball sport?

and they won their bowl last year.

at KY, these are significant in football. we Vol fans scoff at the notion of being excited about it, however, we've lost to the two top 10 teams we've played, in decisive manners. KY has beaten theirs.

so all things being equal....yes, KY is on the rise.

is it really rising when there was but one option. Think about it McCat, one step above hell will likely be unbearably hot as well, don't you think?

who is this Karl player of which you speak? I don't think I've seen him make any plays. Mind you, I disregard the tackler past 20 yards from the line of scrimmage.

KARL WHO?? how he is starting at ut is beyond me! he couldnt even start at tn-chattanooga!
