Does seem odd to me to hire a coach who is the son of a former coach at one of our biggest rivals. Curious if that bothers anyone as a fan?

Nope. Everybody has to start somewhere. His dad was unfortunate enough to do it at UGA, but I don't hold that against Derek.

Doesn't bother me one iota. He literally called the dogs off in 1981 when they kicked our butts 44-0. It could have been 66-0 if he was that type coach. He made the comment on his show that was the first time he'd ever seen a Tennessee team give up. Even though he was a rival team's coach, he was classy.

Doesn't bother me at all. On a side note, my dad mentioned last Saturday that it was a little weird for him rooting for a Dooley. I guess some can still remember facing Vince on a yearly basis.

This is a weird question. I can't imagine anyone having a problem with it unless their family is in a Hatfield-McCoy type feud with the Dooley's.

If anything I'm glad his father was a successful National Championship winning coach.

Is it just me, or didn't we go over this for a few months back in the spring?
