I believe he will be fired if we lose tonight and the attendance is low. By reading all these other posts, it seems like most people are less than enthused about tonight's game.

He should...but it might take a massive blowout next week...which will happen,he'll be gone then.

Philmer still thinks it's all about him. Would be very surprised to see him step down. But, the pressure on him must be tremendous?

I dont think he will, partly out of respect, and partly because of the criticism Clemson is getting for firing Bowden in the middle of the season.

I don't believe anything will happen until the end of the year. However, should we loose tonight I think the pressure on Hamilton will be tremendous and, barring a win-out the rest of the season (unlikely) he is gone

no way he's fired mid-season, that's just not classy ... it would be kind of funny to get canned at halftime though :)

i believe vol in colorado has it right. There aren't many programs that have the pressure to win as Tenn., but history af recent changes have happened at the end of the season.

No, he won't be fired. He may be "persuaded" to announce he's retiring sometime later this season, but they won't let him go.

And I bet attendance will be fine.

If it happens it'll be at the end of the season I still believe despite what Hamilton said in the papers or on the radio this week. I still am not convinced that unless it ends with him under 7-5 that he won't still be back.
