Takes a lot of time to get good. Thing about chess.com is you have no clue if the person you’re playing has been playing for 20 years and just started playing online recently so their score will be low but they’ll be amazing at the game

Right now I’m focusing on trying to involve every piece quickly and connect the rooks.

Chess, Risk, Clue, Monopoly, Masterpiece (original, new one sucks), backgammon, Chinese (racist!) checkers, Yatzhee, Sorry (original, new one sucks), checkers and Pit. Like playing poker (having a hard time getting a game up here in Cleveland), variation rummy.

This past weekend, was playing yatzhee with family and a brother in law couldn't get it. And kept running his mouth about it. I almost said something about him being a financial advisor and not being able to understand a game anyone over the age of 7 could play, but bit my tongue. Figured it explains why he thinks annuities are great investments.

So for Christmas my son got Monopoly "Gamers Edition" where everything is themed in the Mario and Mushroom Kingdom universe. Holy ****! This "kids" version is harder than the standard version of Monopoly! There are so many rules to keep up with, it's ridiculous! I don't know. There's a ton of variations to Monopoly, probably more so than any other board game ever. However I kind of feel like they got it right the first time and it doesn't need all these varieties.
