does anybody on here have this kind of haircut?

I've been out of the military for 14 years and I still get a flattop, summer months I have my barber use a zero-guard on the side and as short as possible on top and in the winter months I use maybe a 1 or a 2 on the side and a 3 or 4 on top.

Only problem I'm running into lately is that the American barbershop is dying and in it's place are places like SportClips. Not that I mind watching sports and having my hair cut by a woman, but cosmetology schools aren't teaching old-school cuts like the flattop anymore.

not being part of the "Big Army", I can usually get away with more hair (especially out here) on top, but that's pretty much my standard hair cut, I just don't typically go down to a zero on the sides if I don't have to. I start at a one and have them fade it up. It looks just like blonde kid's hair, I just don't spike the front part up.

While this short style isn't for me, I see nothing wrong with it for the guy who likes it. Why the question?

That's what I miss about the AAFES barber, spin you around 3 times, invest 4 minutes and $6, perfect fade every time.

I pay 15 freakin dollars in Vegas for a shave.

The first one I ever paid for in Vonore, Tenn cost me one buck.
The barber is on the endangered species list.

As a kid I got flat top. When I hit my teens I just got a No. 2 buzz. Got married and wife didn't like the buzz so went with a fade. Now I get high and tight which most places screw up and looks surprisingly like a fade. Need a good barber. Women have screwed up that profession.

I've just started buzzing my head myself unless I have a wedding or something to go to in the near future, $18 2x a month for a men's haircut is ridiculous.
