I don't think he is funny at all. I can barely watch his show and the only reason I watch it every now and then is when he has a guest on that I want to see.

Used to really like it when I was in school and stayed up late. Went to a live taping about 8 years ago. I have a job now so can't stay up that late to watch it

Loved the show in the 80's (monkey cam), hadn't watched in a decade atleast.

He was the best in the late 80's through the mid 90's. Now when I catch it once every 8-12 months it's pretty awful. He has changed with age.

I haven't really watched since joining the Army (staying up til past midnight is hard when you have to wake up at 5:30 am), but I always preferred him over Leno.

Some of his interviews are actually alright. If I do sit down and watch late night stuff, I only watch Letterman in the 35 minutes between the end of Conan and the start of Ferguson.

Used to watch religiously about 15 years ago. The only time I watch now is when Jack Hannah is on. Their chemistry together is awesome!

I haven't watched much at all since the 90s, but I always thought he was great at interviewing guests, and allowing them to be funny and steal the show.

There was not a bigger Letterman fan than me, but his show has turned into a political message for liberals and its hard to watch now if your not like minded. It is sad because Letterman's early stuff was groundbreaking comedy. I still have boxes of vhs tapes of the show from the 80's.

I hate republicans just as much as Letterman but I still find his shots to be ignorant and sorely lacking in creativity. Letterman is the worst late night show by a pretty large margin.

He's too much like Kimmel and Colbert. He's turned his show way too much into politics. I don't find him funny at all. It shows in his ratings too as Leno has been kicking his ass ever since Leno got The Tonight Show gig over Letterman. Good choice

Honestly I can't believe him or Leno are still on the air. Letterman still does the Top 10 every night and that hasn't been funny in decades. I haven't watched in about a year and when I last did it looked like even him and Paul were bored.

Letterman was pretty good up until Sept. 11, 2001. After that, his shows took on an overtly political tone and became less funny and more preachy.
