I get what you are saying. Memphis has had a good season and topped it off with a nice bowl win against WVU.

They deserve some recognition too.

Indiana and ND are 22-2. Both playoff teams.

Texas and SMU are 22-4. Both playoff teams.
I hadn't even thought of Indiana and ND being in the same state. I mean I knew ND was in Indiana, I just never think about ND. Pretty cool that they play each other in the first round. Perhaps the birth of a new rivalry?

If they schedule each other and Indiana could consistently be good, then perhaps. I’m sure Indiana fans probably hate ND to some extent, like every fanbase aside from Notre Dame’s.

ND is basically South Michigan more than it's Northern Indiana.

NY is close with Army and 'Cuse, 20-5

Ohio has tOSU and Ohio, 20-5

Idaho has Boise St. and Idaho (1-AA), 22-5
