It proved UT is here to stay and on the way back up.
It also proved to UF and the nation that UF isnt so Invincible.

I and others have been saying this all week as events unfolded...Kiffin managed to create the conditions that anything less then a historic beat down would be seen as a failure by Florida and success by Tennessee. Not only was there no beat down, but we were a couple of mistakes/great plays away from possibly winning this game.

This sure beats the pucker factor games we used to endure under Fulmer.

Just read it....yet another great article of the Vols! As mentioned by a few on here on other threads...the best quote to me after the game was "sorry I can't hear you they are playing Rocky Top!" Classic!

CLK has played this well. Now the vols can head into the meat of the schedule with full steam. If we play that kind of inspired football we can beat anyone left on our schedule including Ala!
