I just got done watching the replay and I just want to say, Josh Dobbs is one tough S.O.B.

After all the drops in the first half, the INT coming out at halftime, he hung in there and kept his head up and played ball.

All four of his TD passes were in the face of an imminent big hit. He knew he was going to get hammered but he stood in there and delivered the ball.

Hats off to the entire team for rallying, but Dobbs, you Sir are the man! :hi:

I'm not a Dobbs Homer, I think he struggles with accuracy after 10+ yards, but Tonight I saw some pretty passes Dropped, and saw some bad throws caught. He played well tonight.

Obviously being a good thrower in the throw game does not correlate into being a winner. I get as frustrated as anyone when he throws behind or over wide open WRs, but he has the "it: factor to go out and win...anyway he can.

On his touchdown run late in the game he just ran right through a Fla LB! He's a man! Needs to play with the same tenacity the rest of the year!

I've been one of his biggest detractors from an accuracy standpoint, but have always praised his character and leadership....both of which showed through against Florida. He weathered a frustrating first half, and rallied his team. His accuracy came, on the long ball, in the second half, and his leadership never waivered. He's a warrior, and a Gator-slayer. That puts him in an elite group.

Dobbs was not to be denied. It is amazing how good Josh is when the line is able to pass protect. Josh could have had close to 400 yards passing if we caught the ball more in the first half.

It's give and take with Dobbs. Sure, he will make some bad passes every now and then, but on the flip side he can turn a sure busted play and a sack into 15 yards and a first down.

Can't remember a time when a UT player showed out better at a more opportune time. He and Barnett both took the Vols on their shoulders. Can't wait to see more.
