Dobbs or Ferg?

Why try to cause a rift with these players before they come in. They will be in competition with one another but to start a thread that is divisive at it's best. We should just support who rises to the top as the starter in a few years (because I think Worley or Peterman will be qb for a couple years) and support the other as our back up. We had enough divisiveness last year without the fans driving a wedge between these guys. Go Vols!

I think both will split... Depends on what offense play setup. I hate to say it, but I think Worley might wants to transfer if he's not name as starter.

Hopefully we won't know how either of these guys pan out until a few years from now bc that'll mean Worley and Peterman were taking care of bidness...

There is no doubt about us having a great stable of QBs. We could get along well with any of them. Of those mentioned, Dobbs' smarts might seem to give him an edge. However, one can't totally ignore High. 11 state records and 2 national records while playing hurt almost an entire year. Is he overlooked because he is a local boy and accepted a preferred walk-on? Few if any of us have seen these guys play, other than Worley. The numbers are impressive.

I think Worley will initially start, just because he has SEC experience. However, from what I heard, Peterman was neck and neck with him for backup all year. I would love to see Worley step up and do good, I think it's his time.

Anyways, I don't think either freshman QB will get much PT this year. I hate to do it to either of them, but a redshirt would be the best long term in my opinion.

Nah, that's not the reason he is being overlooked.

If a thread on here started a rift in the team then I would say we have bigger problems than figuring out who our starter will be. But that wasn't my intent at all. I just wanted to get everyone's take on what both guys do well. Again, I'm very glad to have landed both of them and excited for the future especially at QB.

He's overlooked bc he wouldn't be able to see over our OLine

So, 6-foot is now considered a midget? It's strange how a midget could have a career of 11,000 yards with a 74.4% completion rate.

Yeah, I get it. He's almost an inch shorter than Johnny Football.

Johnny Football and Drew Brees at essentially the same height with - heaven forbid - Russell Wilson at 5' 10" maybe with platform cleats on. Gasp!

If a guy can play the game he will overcome the obstacles. Only DA's like Dools pick style and minutia over winning.
