We landed 2 really good QBs in this class. I think it was Trent Dilfer who said he thinks they are the 2 best in this years class, which is some very high praise and great to hear coming from a supwebowl winning QB. But with that being said, only one of them can be the starter when their time comes (unless we run a 2 QB system of course). I just wanted to get everyone's take on what they like about each of them (arm strength, mobility, accuracy, leadership, etc.) and who they think will end up being the starter down the road when it's their time to take the reins. I wish I could add a poll but I'm not sure how to do that on my mobile.

SN: And b4 anyone starts saying we should leave it to the coaches and just be happy to have landed both of them...I already know this and I'm definitely happy to have both. Its just a little slow aroud here after NSD and I'm just curious as to who everyone thinks will end up winning the job and why.

Thanks!

Noone has any clue. We could end up signing another top QB in 2014(unlikely) or 2015 who could take the job. Just let it play out.

Dobbs is the flavor of the month but Ferguson is a gamer. I'm not worried about the QB position with these two.

I like that fact that Dobbs is more of a dual threat qb, so I will say Dobbs. However, it is extremely hard to say right now. ANYTHING can happen

I really like Riley. He's an underdog, and will play with a chip on his shoulder. He's raw but has what it takes to be a good QB.

Yea I know noone really know yet, I was more curious to see what everyone likes about them (arm strength, mobility, etc.). I havent got a chance to watch any highlights/game film on them yet and I know there are a lot of people on here who have and I wanted to get their takes on what each of them does well.

Who's got the better arm and who's the better runner? I'm most curious about those two aspects.

Im still ready to see what Peterman can do.

Same here. I think he will win the starting job this year and will do very well for us. He looks like a perfect fit for CBJ's system. But I'm still really excited about these two guys and can't wait to see what they do down the road for us when the time comes for one of them to take over. It's definitely refreshing to have so many capable QBs now. It wasn't two long ago when we had to rely on Simms.

Yes I'm excited about our two new QB's too. I'm pretty sure they will redshirt this year unless something goes very wrong. Dobbs is a DT QB so I would assume he will be fun to watch.

I imagine there's a possibility one gets PT this year while the other redshirts. Another part of me wants them both to redshirt because I really want Worley to succeed (not that I don't like NP), and even if he doesn't start I think he stays with the program.

One thing for sure. Next season the second string QB will be the most popular on VN. That's just how the emotions flow. Book it!!!!!!!

It will be great to see the young QBs grow with the plethora of good young receivers. If the OL and RB positions can be adequately filled, we should be really good on offense.

You're absolutely right. There is no way the coaches will ever get this right (according to Volnation anyway).

I honestly think Worley will start because he is the only QB on the team with SEC experience. If he starts screwing up then Peterman will step in IMO.

I like them both and am very thankful they're here. However, I think Ferguson is the starter after Peterman leaves.

With a new offense and Dobbs being a very intelligent young man, I will put the odds in his favor. I think he was the best get in this class behind North and Carr.

Someone made a solid comparison saying there like Erik Ainge and Brent shaffer so I thank if dobbs makes the throws Shaffer couldn't he will be the starter.

Dobbs isnt a dual threat. Ferguson has more mobility but neither is really a true Dual threat.
