Several weeks ago everyone was enamored with how hard this team plays for Jones. All season we've been a come-from-behind, win-because-we-want-it-more team, because we've had to be. The reason we've had to be is because our scheme and playcalling is not upper echelon. Sorry, but that's a fact.

The defense is hurt and is playing as expected. It is not our problem! Hurd is hurt and has not been anything but a straight ahead power runner when he has been well. When Hurd runs east and west, he hurts the team more times than not.

Josh Dobbs is another thing altogether ... he cannot pass very well and he doesn't always make good decisions. I wish it were different but Butch chose a running QB and we got what we got. Running QBs really mess up a team when they cannot pass well.

Team discipline is squarely on the Coach. The team has not quit on him as some have suggested, they are just undisciplined. We cannot get rid of Butch Jones! There's nobody else clamoring to come to Tennessee that is of any consequence. Hopefully Coach realizes his problem and fixes it next year. Unfortunately, for next year, a pocket passer (Dormady) in the SEC has its own problems.

I would say next year will be Coach Jones biggest challenge. He better find a way to win out and make this season respectable or he adds to his problems next season. Our hopes for this season died with the Texas A&M game which we should have won. GO VOLS
