Dobbs has to win more games to be grouped with Casey IMO.

We were spoiled rotten as a fan base when Casey was our QB.

This. Casey was underappreciated at the time, but looking back, he was one of the best we've had without question...

Casey was awesome. One of my favorite performances by a UT QB came in that 03 loss at Auburn. He played his backside off as usual on the road. Totally not his fault. I loved that guy.

Dobbs is definitely not appreciated enough by the fanbase as a whole. He was the catalyst for the offense really taking off and that has played a huge role in Tennessee getting back to national relevance. He also should be 2-0 against UF...but we all know that the defense gave the game away last year. I actually think we would've beat UF in 2014 if Dobbs had played. He gets ripped because of poor production in the passing game, but we've all seen what he can do when our OC puts some trust in him and lets him throw down the middle of the field instead of just quick throws to the sidelines and dumping it off to the RB.

Casey was good no doubt, but if we are being honest, he made his name for 2 games. The Florida wins in 2001 and 2003. In 2001, Casey had a great defense, very good OL and great WR and RBs. If not for Stephens, I highly doubt we win that game.

I think Dobbs is much more under appreciated. With the horrid OL play we have had the last three years, Dobbs has literally won games for us on his own athletic ability. Casey is a much better pure passer, but then again he benefitted from a better OL, WR corp and coaching. Its going to be quite some time before we truly can appreciate what Dobbs meant to this team.

If Josh will perform consistently in these next 3 games, the fans will absolutely adore him. You have to admit, Josh has been extremely inconsistent during his tenure at UT.

I think both Clausen and Dobbs elevated their teams so I can definitely agree with this.

Clausen had a more settled situation and probably a better supporting cast on offense top to bottom. Definitely worked with a better O line and throwing to Jason Witten and Kelly Washington helped.

Casey is a tool...he and Jimmy threw ice and quarters at my head during a movie then cried to the manager to keep arcade open late for him.
