Phil, Cut, or Troop, or any of the players ever check this board out. If I was Phil I think I would have to, but Im curious by nature.

Absolutely...not all of them...but, I'm sure that some players, and perhaps a coach or two, look at the boards occasionally.

It's hard to believe that any man who's overly concerned about what a bunch of irrelevant yahoos think would have the personality to rise high enough in the coaching profession to be at UT in the first place.

Me too I would have to know. I say no they don't. Why would a guy making 2 mil a year care what some people on a message board say about him? I think he could spend his time more wisely.

it's the parents that seem to visit these boards regurally. recruits sometimes too.

If I was a recruit, you'd better believe that I would be on all the boards. By the way, will you still be around after we put a whippin' on you?

I'll come back win or lose. If it's like last year though, don't expect me to linger.

Im still chuckling over the "Treetards".

The sad part is they are getting insane amounts of press even though they aren't the reason why the new facilities are being delayed. The delay is soley due to a seismic lawsuit the city of berkeley filed agains the university. But those idiots have been getting all the credit.

it's probably that smae reason people on the other side of the interstate stop to look at a wreck, it's the spectacle that's appealing. But let's face it, those guys speak volumes about the city of Berkeley's citizens. In Knoxville, some good ole boys would've fixed that problem with a mossberg and some rock salt.

yeah the majority of non-cal alumni and student citizens in berkeley are truly wackjobs. The students are like students anywhere else.

I can name at least 4 high profile basketball coaches who religiously monitor the message boards pertaining to their schools. Coaching is like politics, you better have your finger on the pulse of your constituency.
