My gut feeling is that we don't have any chance of beating them. However, I thought the same thing last year and we see how that turned out. I think it is doubtful, but I won't concede anything with this team.

We were full strength playing UF last year though
I know. What I am saying is that last year I didn't think we had a snowball's chance in hell of winning, even though we were full strength, and we won both of those games. This year I don't think we have a snowball's chance in hell of winning without Lofton, but we won last year, so I will never count a Bruce Pearl coached team out.

It's going to be interesting seeing a Bruce Pearl coached team without Lofton.

you ain't kidding...........

i do think though, that they will play well with or with out lofton. they seem to "get it" the bigger the game.

having said that, it's a tall order.......but i wouldn't be shocked if they split with the gatros this year. Just like i wouldn't be shocked if the got swept.......

Yeah, I'm not saying that he's less of a coach without Chris but at the same time, Chris has made Pearl look really good at times. That's what happens when you have players of his caliber on the team though.

There's not a doubt in my mind when it comes to Pearl's coaching ability though. The Vols will give it their all either way.

Can't be right all of the time.

No, I can't. Nonetheless ....

now you're just being cocky.

Yes. But for good reason.

Florida's two biggest enemies thus far have been mononucleosis and complacency. The mono is gone. And when UT comes to down in February you better believe that revenge will be on the Gators' mind. I doubt they will be more motivated for any other regular season game.

And Noah loves to shove it in the face of opposing fans when they taunt him, as I am sure the UT faithful will when the Gators come to town up there. It will get so bad that I feel confident that Noah wil have to leave under police protection because the more your fans antagonize him, the more animated he becomes.

yeah, yeah, yeah.......we all know how good FL is....believe me. it's been shoved down our throat for the better part of the season. in all honesty, FL should probably beat us like a drum, esp. if there is no lofton available. but we've only got run out of the gym once and that was to UNC. I think we're a little better than that now.

like i said, i really won't be shocked either way. i have no doubt in my mind that FL is perfectly capable of sweeping UT this season. but i won't be surprised one bit to see UT pull an upset either.
At UF without Lofton? To say they're going to beat us by 20 isn't cocky.
I'll refer youto the post above by the originator of the post.....................

It's my opinion that Butler was lucky to play Tennessee when they did.
